There won't be anymore classes this year, we're extremely FAT right now. Mid 2013 at the earliest...

I'm not so sure the excess girth will hold true through the summer, as we are already seeing a fair amount of RSAs (volunteers for extra reserve days) after nothing for months. We're all hoping to see you poolies sooner than later.

Yea I hope this isn't true either. And also I realize this is just a forum and rumors are what drive it. But if you are going to post something like this when there are tons of people in the pool waiting, at least give a source of the info. If this is just your opinion then state that.

I got a call at the end of last week from the JetBlue pilot who is keep those of us in the pool up to date. He did not have a definitive date but was still hopeful for hiring to resume this fall.

Heard from the DO recently (within a week) no more than 20 through training for the rest of the year. Said we were adequately staffed and the study on the new rest rules will have little effect on current or planned staffing.
Sorry for those in the deep end. The shallow end folks may find a class date.

You don't think that's part of the " master plan" - to have no one go above the 78 hour trigger (unless you like the islands in the middle of the night)?
