For the bluebells...

JetBlue is researching the value of premium pay going forward. It's getting too expensive when pilots pick up extra flying. They would possible get rid of premium pay. Reducing the block hours to ensure a more even 80-84 hours. Researching tying your NPS to your pay. Marusters analogy was make better announcements in the cabin and get paid more. They are still researching our pay increase and more information to follow in the coming weeks and months. Maruster stated we are expected to do more but expect to be paid industry standard or less. Transcript to be posted in a few days.

Congrats. It will be a good time to get out of the mess that Corp has going on. Once you are on board you can help your friends out as well to bring them on. A lot of good people over there who could use a new home.

No kidding. It's approaching meltdown over here in a hurry. I'm just happy to be in the pool at this point. A class "sometime in the near future" is better than "Did FedEx come by today?"

Congrats to the guys getting emails. It's a stress reduction.
The point is not a simple technicality. It is about having some ACTUAL experience within jetblue before arguing what is best for us and our pilots. It is not about being a jetblue pilot, it is about EXPERIENCING the operation, our pay, and our benefits before trying to tell us what is best for us(by taking sides on our important debated issues).

On Wednesday, at 7:00, I will welcome you aboard. I will not automatically or immediately value your opinion because you have spent 30 seconds in the training center.

On the other hand, congratulations and welcome aboard. I think you will like it here.

Lake,
I'll chime in on this one. Getting rid of premium pay will be Marusters down fall. They may gain something in the short term, but in the long run B6 will lose its competitive advantage of being the most productive pilot group in the industry. It would also be the nail in the coffin for representation, unless they offered industry leading base hourly rates to make up the difference in premium loss. As far as tying pay to NPS, what a total joke, there would be no fair way to capture the data and it would open them up to either legal action or again the nail in the CBA coffin. It will never happen, in my opinion.

Whatever Lake. You think what you want and pound your chest to whatever you want. In the end Im still smiling, flying with good people, in a growing airline. I wont even defend or try to justify to you what my knowledge of the documents are. I don't care what you have to say because in the end, it means nothing to me, and you do not pay my salary. I control what I can, and thats a good working enviroment and support for a company that I feel is ok right now, period. When "I" feel its time to get out or JB makes that decision for me, then I will deal with that because I can, such is life. Really, nothing else better for you to do than to bi_ch about this company or where its headed? Carry on with your rant, its what your good at on these forums. Cheers everyone.
