Question about these emails people are getting. Does this mean that their background check is complete? Or is this something new Jetblue is doing? I talked with a few JB pilots who said they never received an email stating that they were in the hiring pool. They all got phone calls with class dates!

I think the email update about being in the hiring pool is a new policy aimed at improving communications with those in Phase 2. It's probably also related to the increased wait times for classes right now.

Congrats to the Oct 13th guys. I'm a 10/14 guy, but no e-mail yet. I'm guessing they just haven't made it to us yet. Then again, I just moved. Hopefully there's no FedEx letter at my old address. 0.o

I'd like to thank you all who had ENCOURAGING and UPLIFTING things to say to me, that means a lot to me and my family. I'm not even going to bother responding to those with the Ba-Humbug attitude, they don't deserve a response. As you all recommended I will re-apply in 6 months since JetBlue is where I want to be. The excitement I felt after the interview increased my desire 100 fold as well as your encouraging comments! I hope I get the chance to fly with you soon. Well....obviously Santa did NOT bring me what I asked for, so...here's to hoping that Cupid, a Leprechaun, or even the Easter Bunny, brings me what I want (not via FedEx). I can't think of any characters for May
It would be nice to hear something before then anyhow!!
Now that the holidays are over and the Blue factory will be cranking out wigets again...let's start seeing some class dates/offers!

I know of a 10:30 Oct 13th getting a call last week for Jan18th. He interviewed in my group but went first. I'm bummed I didn't make the cut for the 18th but hoping I'm first for the Feb1 class. If that holds as a true date. Any updates Expect or Flyby? U guys r in the know with the dates and sizes. So far theyre holding true.
