The email basically says that we will be "growing" by 11 airplanes. That means net growth to me. However, he said nothing about hiring pilots and made it clear that they will be watching costs... So, they may be planning to run VERY lean, and only hire a minimum. Hope not, and kind of doubt it, but you never know.

Keep in mind that is just for reserve. West Coast expansion has been slow.

What is the maximum time JB will keep those in Phase 2 waiting? I seem to recall hearing we could wait up to 8-12 weeks in the interview and it has now been almost 9 weeks since I interviewed. Assuming they are already finished with background checks from my class, at some point with they notify us even if they don't have a class ready?
Lets say it takes them another 2 months to figure out their class schedules, will they at least call at some point and say "you are hired, we just don't have a class date for you yet." ??

I would not be surprised if you did not get a call until you had a class date. I know of people waiting 3 months with no word while waiting for a class. There could be more who have waited longer, I just have not heard of them.
I never heard anything regarding my background check being completed. There was no phone call or email from either of the involved parties. The only "real" notification I got was an email saying my status was changed from _______ (cant remember) to first officer or something along those lines...this was while I was in IOE.

My friend just got called for Jan 4th class date. No details on class size. He was Sept. 14th interview. He was just over 12 weeks wait from interview to call for class.

I paid a quick visit to HR a couple of days ago. They DO realize people are in the dark and they are working on some changes that will allow them to basically make a phone call to let you know you are okay. Not sure why this all has to be approved however it's a corporate world out there. You need approvals for everything. They want to start getting info out to people in Phase 2 that may include possible timelines, where you are in the process and how long you can expect to wait for your slot.
Good luck to all of you out there. It's a difficult wait, but then again, so is anything when you really want it.

Well that's one less guy from the 9/14 interviews, I wonder how many are left?! Seems like a never ending supply of them!! LOL. Ugh.

I think they're almost through all the Sept. 14 people. I think some Oct. people have already been called as well.
