Congrats to the new Phase 2'ers!
If memory serves me correct, once you pass your checkride, you go from $2500/month to 70 hours guarantee. Once you pass IOE, you go to regular guarantee 75 hours. Your hotel is paid for during training, usually hotel has free hot breakfast and daily manager's reception, and rooms usually have a kitchenette.

Just a note about the guarantee mentioned above. You first go to 70 hrs after the check ride because that is regular guarantee. Then you go to 75 after IOE because you will be on reserve, and reserve guarantee is 75.

When they do call you....how does the conversation go? Do they start by asking your availability...or do they just say we have this class, can you make it?
During my exit interview, I told them 90 days notice from the job offer....and they seemed totally cool with it. I'm just worried about getting stuck in that "you can only turn down 1 class thing". Thanks for any pointers.

Try to get into the Part 121 regulations and review stuff like fuel requirements, alternate airports, etc. Besides that I wouldnt worry about training. The environment is very relaxed and laid back, just stay with the program and study what they tell you to study. Good luck!

Typically they call you and have a classdate in mind for you. If you told them in the exit interview that your earliest available date would be XYZ then dont worry. I had a previous obligation and was called early for a class. I just told them that I wouldnt be able to take a class before April, and said that I stated that in the exit interview, and they were completely cool with it. When April rolled around and I still hadnt been called for a class I called up the contact in the People Dept and told her I was available for the next available class. She got me all set up without any issues.

I interviewed the same week and haven't heard yes or no, but I did get a call concerning a background check. Hoping that is a good sign.

If they are running a background check on you then you are in Phase 2. Same thing happened to me heard from the background company several hours before I got the email. Also check your spam folders
