Default Continental Hiring Minimums (real world)

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows what Continental is looking for currently as minimums? I understand exceptions can be made, but I am looking for hard numbers. PIC, turbine, 4 year college degree, sponorship by pilots (FedEx style), Total Time, etc.

Thanks for any help in advance!

I know several FO's who got hired out of the RJ with less than two years seniority, but they knew someone or had done an internship. So their times would have been in this ballpark:

2500 TT
1000-1500 PIC (from CFI)
1000+ Turbine SIC

They had 4 year degrees.

Also, any idea on what these folks are getting hired into? I would assume the 37 classic, but am not sure.

thanks

A good friend of mine in the guard just got a intrview with 500 PIC in C-130's. So anything possible. I can't seem to get an invite though. He does have a 4 year degree and a good internal rec. (Actually a retired guy)

Continental has vacancies in every aircraft type. Even the 777 has openings left over from the last bid. Most that were filled, were new-hires. New-hires go where they are needed. The 737 is the majority, but you fly all models: 300, 500, 700, 800, & 900. Most of the 737's are 800's. Many new hires go to the 756 (757/767), but they don't fly much when junior (fly = takeoff or land). They are IRO's or third in command on a 757 on flights over 8 hours. Plan on dead heading to Europe on a redeye, and IRO'ing back. IRO's sit in the jumpseat for takeoff and landing, then sit in the pilot's seat who is taking a break. The 767 IRO flying goes senior because there is less deadheading and it is widebody pay. Most of the new hires get Newark, but oddly that is where the best flying is. I was hired into the 737, but switched to the 756 after my first year. I wasn't hired with record low minimums. 11,000 hours (most as a part 121 jet captain) and a Master's degree. Good luck.
