Where in the world did that come from? Red herring, anyone?

Focus.

Yes or no: ALPA can assess us without our approval.

Never said that.

Still intent on making a fool of yourself?

Carl,

Just stop now. You're embarrassing yourself. The email sent out covered BOTH the lawsuit that DPA claims it's filing AND the TWA lawsuit. Read the entire email again.

We need your help now! This is the final push to the vote! We can beat the TWA Lawsuit by a good margin if we press now through December and file for our vote before the second week in January. If we drag our feet beyond that date, the March 17th TWA Damages Trial begins to impact our wallets. (It takes 8 to 10 weeks for the NMB to conduct the vote.) Please help us mash the accelerator by joining the GO TEAM!

The ALPA Constitution and By Laws specifically state that a assessment necessary for covering awarded damages may only occur via MEMRAT.

(I am paraphrasing)

Pathetic attempt to deflect from the fact you didn't read the post you quoted. Here's the post again for your review:

Notice no mention of an email? Just the hacking of the DPA website, and subsequent lawsuit. And this was your response:

And they CONTINUE to spew lies. No one has to beat the TWA damages trial, because ALPA can not involuntarily assess it's membership to cover awarded damages. But as usual, DPA ignores facts.

If Seham is going to represent DPA then they better be ready to open their checkbooks. Just ask SWAPA.
Your desire to knee-jerk was so strong, you didn't even read the post. Your emotional rant goes off on the TWA lawsuit without even mentioning the website hacking. Just admit you screwed up and move on to your Pom Pom waving.

I told you I've never said such a thing. If you can prove me wrong, then do so. If not, say so. Then we'll move on to your latest deflection.

OK... assuming you are right.. how are you gonna pay for any lawsuits that are levied upon the doughnuts? THIS is exactly why I won't be a member of the "union". you will be uninsured except for what you will be able to assess, and when those inevitable lawsuits pop up, you'll be twisting in the wind. But at least the dues will be cheap.
