Agreed. But since GKelly made it painfully clear he doesn't want a second a/c type..... Something's gotta give.

Given Moak's demand that the Delta MEC form a committee to use our dues money to fight the DPA, do you still contend that DALPA is "independent" of national?

PG;

Its good to know you feel that "scourge" was outrageous. Keep this up, and ALPA might take away your new lanyard and pin.

Let me know when you're going to a PUB event in Paris. I'd really like you to buy me a beer.

Actually, you'd be buying yourself that beer. And it would be the most expensive beer you've ever had.

Yeah, but at least I'd be paying for PG's mini-vacation. I'm qualified to do some of that tireless work.

You're making this up. Didn't happen. I watched, with my own eyes, the Delta MEC unanimously approve the plan that is currently being undertaken.

Lee Moak may be a Delta pilot, but he does not tell the Delta pilots what to do.

Do you think DALPA should continue to sit back and watch you guys spread discontent amongst our ranks? We have many faults, but I'd prefer the pilot group be influenced by reality and not Tim's 20 minute youtube video of, how did Bar put it? Hakuna Matata?

OUR elected reps decided enough was enough, and chose to engage rather than sit idly by as the truth was warped against us - to the potential detriment of this pilot group. Simple as that.

So KR was lying when he testified at his recall about Moak's involvement?

Leine;

I would swear that I read in the impeachment proceedings that the committee was Lee Moak's brainchild.

Wasn't at the recall hearing, and I haven't read every word of the recall proceedings, but I know what I saw:

There was a presentation by several pilots (now part of the Special Committee) in front of the MEC on the proposed plan. After the presentation, and deliberation by the elected reps, the plan was approved.

I have no idea what King's comment about Lee Moak might have been about. I'm sure there was discussion back and forth between National and DALPA, as this decision affects all ALPA pilots, depending on how this whole thing ultimately plays out. Further, I'm pretty sure Lee would have done this along time ago if it were actually up to him, which it's not.

What I'm passing along is my first hand account of seeing the Delta MEC authorize this direction - not Lee Moak.
