You may be on to something, FTB. Wiley's posts are definitely reflective of the thinking within DALPA. But even those guys have enough SA not to say that in public.

Wiley, if you're trying to help DPA there are better ways to do it. Leave the manipulative political stuff to DALPA.

You're not on that new special committee are you? Are you getting FPL to post here? Management? Wouldn't that be ironic; responding to "The Manager".

If push came to shove, I could live on 20k. But, I wouldn't drone over thousands of miles of ocean in the middle of the night in a two hundred million dollar jet for that. Hell, if I would have stayed at the regional I came from, I would have broken the $100,000 barrier over a decade ago.

I really would like to know your background, because that is not a perspective I hear out on the line.

psssst. Go back a page and read FTB's take on this guy.

Even us ALPA apologists aren't this stupid! (<---joke) He was making some progress boiling everyone's blood, but I think he may have pushed it too far into the realm on absurdity. Nice try though Wiley

Perhaps Bob Wiley is an agent provocateur planted here by the DPA to make ALPA look even more buffoonish. If so, I don't approve of that tactic. There are enough ALPA operatives here without sending in another clown. (paging Rather B. Fishin and his phallic fixation).

However, Wiley's tone-deafness is ALPA writ large. He probably believes every nocturnal emission from his keyboard.
Naw. This Wiley is not a pilot at all. He has management written all over him. What flavor is he though. 4th floor "be humble and compliant" disciple? Perhaps a mahogany row type. I am going to guess definitely inflight management. Why you might ask that I am guessing that.

It is pretty much fact pilots are cheap as a majority. However, even if my hypothesis is true, I have Never met one that would be happy with less pay and benefits.

Weak. Define your description of the economy being in a world of hurt?

It is 2013, not 2008. Try reading a WSJ or IBD. You'd realize DAL is wildly profitable.

All I was saying is there is no reason a family cannot live on $100,000/yr. Most pilots at Delta make more than that. It's when we get greedy we end up putting a financial strain on the company and find ourselves right back in bankruptcy court. Small bites.

You are certainly welcome to apply for the job of CEO at Delta. If you are hired then you will have the ability to make much more money as well.

Your posts are too over the top to be legit. Even the most ardent of ALPA supporters doesn't go where you've gone.

So look, if you created an account to help push people towards the DPA on behalf of the DPA, it's becoming a little too obvious. Yes we hide our names but the union still knows who we are and occasionally they let us know that they know who we are, but we try to keep it real +/- a little variance. In the end people will figure it out.

If you actually are pro ALPA and not a DPA plant...

Think whatever you want. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion. My personal opinions in now way represent ALPA in any sort of official capacity. I'm just one person like you.
