So you'd rather allow ALPA's propaganda to keep us under-compensated vis-a-vis the company's success (and our sacrifices that have funded that success), all in the name of "unity." Nice.

If DPA isn't getting any more cards, why not call for a vote now? Either DPA will be in, or it will be out.

If the card drive is stuck at 50%, you might need another 2 years to get to 60% anyway.

I agree. The card count will continue to increase...even if gradually.

And you are basing this on what? Hope? Fact? Or just plain wishful thinking?

I was simply agreeing with CVG767A's opinion.

If you make strategic mistakes in the process, then yes, the NMB won't budge in their process. If you do things correctly, the NMB will release you to strike. The fact that ALPA is using the NMB as the excuse to never be able to strike again is the salient point in this discussion. Why a union would actively be looking for excuses as to why they can longer strike is THE point regarding Mr. Moak's ALPA.

You may want to come in from the cold and review some history and remarks from the current NMB. Our ability to engage in any activity is going to be measured on many factors, one of which is the current state of the industry and where we stand relative to our airline "peers." That has nothing to do with ALPA, APA, IPA or any other alphabet soup--including your beloved DPA. To succeed requires more than distortion of facts or wishful thinking, something you probably know, but doesn't fit your personal agenda.

It's not what's BEST for the Delta pilot , it's about WINNING. How'd that work out for Charlie Sheen?

You misunderstand my point. According to Carl, the card count isn't increasing, it's stuck at 50%. That could be enough to win an election, if those cards are actually valid-- all you have to do is pick up a few more fence sitters.

For how many years has this DPA card drive been going on? Three years? Four? It's about time to see the real depth of support for DPA. It's time to put up or shut up. Call for a vote.

I've already explained to you why. You only get one vote every two years, so you don't do it until you're sure you can win. Very simple.

That's possible, but with the way ALPA continues to operate, the additional cards could come in much quicker. When we know we can win, we'll file for a vote...and not one card sooner.

Another 9 post wonder who joined this month. The Secret Police is sure turning out their proxies quickly. I love my wife and my family, certainly not DPA. They are simply a new vendor that I hope will replace the poorly performing vendor called ALPA.

Why don't you post exactly what you think the NMB has stated publicly or written. Then we can all decide how much you know about them.

Carl
