"Management rear kissing" pretty much sums up DALPA's "constructive engagement" appeasement. FAIL.

If SWA's contract (pay, scope, medical, profit sharing, etc.) is "subpar," than I'm sure DALPA had no problems whatsoever negotiating our contract to eclipse SWA's in every regard. Right?

DALPA could only dream of being that successful.

Yep. It will be a juggernaut the second we join. At a fraction of the cost.

Wow, that's a good point. Maybe shiznit has some inside info about our TA that he can't just come out and say, and he's trying to give us some hints here. If SWAPA's contract is "sub par", then that must mean I'm going to be making at least $234,000 as an MD-88 Captain and we will no longer be outsourcing our flying. Heck, with such huge improvements to scope, I might even be a 767 Captain by this time next year! Happy days are here again! Thanks, shiznit!

If there was that much of a "payraise", I mean restoration, I might think about bidding Captain. Right now, its tough to think about trading a 12 day 82 hr month for a left seat. When the payrates are higher, the pay differential is also higher. Right now, not so much.

Scambo,

When you "bid down" to the Left Seat, it will be my pleasure to get the walk around and even numbered rounds of your preferred beverage.

You'll also get to "enjoy" 30+ hour overnights in exciting cities like COLUMBIA SOUTH CAROLINA (don't know how to type in the tone Drew Carey used for CLEVELAND ROCKS! before he got all skinny) But let me tell you, enjoy the cities that are slightly less ... eh ... Colombian (?) while you can.

Bar;

Even with a douglas test pilot and workaround representative like you, it sure as Fu<h wouldn't be to the maddog. However, if you are laying over in CHS, this summer, pm me and I'll bring you to the beach shack for some grilled animal and booze.

I really think that if this TA gets voted in, Delta pilots need to push hard for DPA.
