From Michael Cleary, President of USAPA, and his recent communication to the USAPA membership:

"Interestingly, instead of cooperating with USAPA and simply providing the requested documentation, Sxxxx has retained counsel which specializes in defending attorneys against ethics charges and disbarment proceedings. I for one find it interesting that he feels the need for this when he has simply been asked to provide substantiation for his billing to us. USAPA has an absolute right to the information we are requesting. The audit will proceed, with or without Mr. Sxxxx's cooperation.

Probably the same guy who "hacked" Anthony Weiner's Twitter account.

Think about it.

Clancy, take a peak at the link above in Carl's post. Pretty interesting. Puts a different spin on what you just wrote. One thing is for certain, Seham is giving us something to talk about!!

This is a great example of why ALPA has lost the trust of many of us who are forced to be members. Clancy here is parroting the ALPA talking points as stated above. We now know that while it is true that Seham has hired legal representation, it is NOT to defend itself against any wrongdoing. It is to sue the entities responsible for hacking into their corporate email account.

If ALPA continues to use dupes like Clancy here to smear people, they're going to find themselves sued over this. Seham is not the kind of guy that will just roll over for this activity.

I'm sure you're referring to the fact that nobody hacked Wiener's account. He actually did send those emails. He was appropriately asked: Hey Anthony, email hacking is a Federal crime...why don't you ask the DOJ to investigate and sue whoever did this? He didn't because Wiener knew that filing a false lawsuit and request for investigation is a criminal offense punishable by jail time.

Seham HAS sued and is seeking investigatory help. If Seham really wasn't hacked, they could go to jail and they know that. Filing suit would be far too risky if they knew they had sent those emails.

This is going to be very interesting to see where the investigation leads. I'm betting there's a whole lot of email accounts and computers that are being wiped clean right about now.

Man you got that right. This is really serious stuff here. I know the stakes are high and certain folks might be feeling that their very existence is at stake, but people may very well go to prison over this.

It looks like a quote from Cleary, from USAPA. Apparently it's USAPA that has a problem with Seham's billing.

Is Seham still working for DPA and billing DPA? Is there some contract between DPA and Seham?

Of course it's USAPA's quote, but it's ALPA that is ensuring that all of it's supporters are receiving USAPA's emails that slam the law firm that decertified them from USAirways. And given the emails sent to USAPA, I can understand their anger against Seham. Anyone would be. But now there's a court case claiming the Seham emails were the result of a hack. As I've said earlier, this has now entered a dangerous legal phase. I predict people will go to prison over this if the truth can be uncovered.

Yes Seham is still working for us at DPA. I couldn't be happier about his activities for us thus far, and I've heard that his billing is totally above board. Lee is a really good and tough lawyer. I'm very glad we've got him.
