The DPA presentation of the survey results must be open to all. It's about time that the 25% of DALPA that are DPA members flex our muscle

Nerd, based on the DPA survey participation, the 25% is closer to 10%.

NuGuy is right, and Carl is predictable. The inescapable fact is DPA is a sentiment, not an organization. There are more traditional steps they could be taking right now IF their goal were truly to get the best representation for Delta pilots. But to take those steps would expose themselves to the truth that they are the same small constituency that is always in the minority on key issues, and always on the losing end of votes.

To the 13% who voted against the big pay raises at NWA, and the 22% that voted against C2K, DPA is a contemporary re-write of the tale told by Cervantes.

ALPA speaks for more than 3 out of 4 of us, and you don't like it. You whine about an imperfect organization, and offer an even more imperfect one. It's time for the DPA outliers to go back to their traditional role of being grumbling contrarians, while ALPA gets us a contract. You can vote "no" again. You always do...it's the easiest vote there is.

You just keep thinking that Karnak. DPA is nothing for you to worry your little head about.

Come on, Carl. You know that Karnak is all-knowing. He's got the envelope and cue cards straight from Virginia Avenue and Herndon!

You know Carl, I started to respond to Karnak and just decided responding to him wasnt worth the trouble. He will eventually be a DPA member when he realizes the ALPA gravy train is headed for a cliff.

You've misread again. I'm not worried. I'm comfortable with the math. Given your background, you should be comfortable with it too.

The Angry Birds have risen up and been counted. The count is more than 3-to-1 against.

Math is not your friend this time.

And 3/4 of those only want to "send a message" not actually change represention. The message is how to be really ineffective in participating in the process of directing ones union. Of course this plays right into the hands of those who don't want any direction.
