I looked at ROAR 44 and noticed that not a lot of the guys have mustaches. BUT WAY WAY TOO MANY have aol.com emails. They should all have alpa.org emails imho.
But still, the mustache stereotype just fits thanks to Prater and many others.
Therefore I bring you the dancing ALPA rep from Herndon:
"you're the bomb sir! you're the bomb!"

I wasn't there. Were you? If so, were you on flight pay loss?
Of the people I've spoken to that were there, none of them mentioned DPA people taking pictures of anyone. Only the ALPA people taking pictures of anyone who picked up DPA literature or talked to DPA reps. The fact that you are struggling to defend that behavior and trying to deflect it to DPA speaks volumes about your credulity.
If anyone from DPA was wanting to turn anyone in to the Chief Pilot's, they would have had to wait at the back of a very long line of ALPA volunteers who were in the Chief Pilot's office accusing DPA reps of violating the law and company policy. Those accusations against DPA reps came every single day of the ATL surge week. That's a fact.

Now grant you, that's just what DPA states, so it's quite possible it's BS.

For someone that deplores excess spending, you should not want more ALPA e-mail address. Each one costs DALPA money because of the administration of the servers, and the legal responsibilities of data retention. Volunteers use their personal e-mail versus a ALPA e-mail address to save you money.

Carl, try to pay attention, in DPA's own recap of the Atlanta surge, more like fizzle , they state that DPA was taking pictures in the pilot lounge. DPA's goes on to boast about turning a pilot into the CPO for violating Delta's media policy. Yep, a would be union who turns their own pilots in. Maybe DPA can volunteer to be the CPO's hat police.
Now grant you, that's just what DPA states, so it's quite possible it's BS.

Great read from DPA Watch. Looks like DPA got it all wrong again.

ALPA Withdraws Services From APA
We borrow this highly publicized headline from the DPA's very own news page. Why?
This morning we heard that an email was going around from our APA brothers in DFW. IT said that the APA had again chosen to re-sign with ALPA for a full extension of their services plan.We congratulate the APA on working to move the ball forward again. We now wait to see what the DPA will do for it's next move after they spent weeks on the forums showing that this was proof that ALPA was all things incarnate.
Speaking to the previous services agreement cancellation, the DPA said "This announcement comes as no surprise to DPA members."
Will this one?
Further: So what's next for the DPA as they have stated their clear opposition to the APA (a CAPA member) from using the services of ALPA?
Will they attack the APA again as they did when the Captain Bates letter came out or will they which them good luck like we do here at DPA Watch...?
We will not hold our breath waiting for a DPA retraction.
