There is certainly a conflict. However I have know those who worked on the highest levels in contract negotiations. I have asked many times if ALPA national ever tried to interfere in our contract talks. The answer was always never. Alpa is a associations. DALPA is my union. The vast majority of pilots doing union work return to the line to work under the agreements they help complete.

The relentless bleating by the DALPA Illuminati versus the DPA and others who dare voice an opinion is nothing but cover fire for a administration that considers the membership opinion as COMPLETELY irrelevant.
They are desperate to try to contain the leaks in the dike. PtP and the uptick in propoganda efforts are just fingers in the dike (along with the one's in their ears) and attempts to deflect attention away from ANY change in the power structure.
Why do you think the IDEA of the DPA holds sway with approaching one third of the pilot group? Everybody knows whats going on with the NC, and the pitiful "all is well" nonsense just makes them look even more ridiculous.

The membership at large has COMPLETELY lost their faith in how the process works. EVERY ALPA announcement goes in the trash and is treated with utter skepticism, at least in my obersvation.

Your previous post stated legality. Now you state that your source is the OPINION of a partisan ALPA type. That opinion is worthless in court without a legal statute to back it up. If ALPA thinks they can just keep the money from Delta pilots, they'll be sued again. The much larger issue is why ALPA would use this as handcuffs to stop the will of Delta pilots.

That's the alley cat analogy again where the cat laments "what the hell did I do to deserve all these kittens?"

My prediction is that the ALPA guys will do just what they did at the first ATL event. Taking pictures and other disruptive activities. They'll attempt to clog up the Q and A session with self serving loaded questions designed only to show that DPA is not viable because they couldn't even handle a group of ALPA thugs.
ALPA cannot win this on their record and on the facts. Their only hope is to instill doubt through fear and confusion. Count on it.

I heard if the ALPA guys hadn't been there they wouldn't have even had a quorum. Is that really true. The avalanche is snowballing and the proof is the oversold ATL meeting? Roll up the sidewalks kids!
