Delta Pilots Association

If they do, that will strengthen our case as UCAL is probably our number 1 competitor going forward. Was it Crandall who said that he didn't care if he paid the pilots made a million dollars and hour as long as every one else did.

We all provide opinions here... myself included. Most of us try to base our opinions on facts. Sometimes different individuals will see certain facts as being more important and relevant than other facts. Try reading my posts again. If you still see only emotion... well, I just can't help you.

Where does someone get one of those lanyards? My "keep delta my delta" one is a little dated. And for you FNWAs who didnt know, mine came out during the usair hostile takeover attempt.

Re:Crandall: He does have a point: WN pilots (and soon to be valuejet/airtran pilots) make huge jack as do fdx and ups pilots. If you take what Crandall says at face value, then DL pilots should be looking at matching up pay scales with RAH pilots. After all, they do the same thing, right?

It's OK. There are still plenty of "Keep Delta Your Delta" bagtags floating around.

It could also be said that there are lots of pragmatic pilots down here in ATL. Or lots of pilots who have high expectations for their careers. Or... well, you get the picture. The point being that, while anger is certainly an appropriate emotion to feel with what has happened to our careers over the past decade, anger is not necessarily the driving force behind the decision to support or not support DPA. And I think, as professional airline pilots, most of us are very capable of keeping our emotions out of decision making. I realize you think it helps your argument against DPA to categorize its supporters as "angry" and "emotional." But I think that is a deflection of the real debate. Nice try, though.
