Reroute, this is more in depth, but conveys where my doubts are.
I know for a fact that they are working on a Constitution, which by deductive reasoning means that the rest of the transparency prior to this point has not happened. Just a question.
If anything it proves that sometimes desires are very had to post on a public website for obvious reasons.

Finally, public info appears on the website! Sadly, it seems to be written by my two-year-old. I am thoroughly confused by the MSP BCR sentence structure choice, amongst others on the site. They finally have public statements from "communicators" and "loyalists" and it's written in non sequiturs? I'm not expert on the english language, but the Testimonials page is a mess.
"Completely aware I was NOT VOTING for a different union, yet, I did know from years of ALPA membership, that there is possibly a different way to go about representing MY interests as a pilot and employee of a successful airline....and not the interest in EVERY OTHER AIRLINE IN THE WORLD, just the one I work for." - Huh?

Why couldn't they use that huge treasure trove of former ALPA volunteers to just take the ALPA one and cut and paste DPA all over it and be done?

Great ! Just send in your card and let the majority win the vote, or are you too scared?

Is that the best you got? Criticize their language and writing skills instead of thanking them for their effort in making YOUR life better (unless you're a ALPA worker that is...).

If it does come to a vote, so be it. It should not preclude everyone from making their pro/con points along the way.
I have made my case about the cons of an internal union. It concerns itself with the coming threats, and our ability to effectively deal with them. No matter what name is on the door plaque, this next section six, and the International threats coming are way allow us only one time to get it right, and we cannot afford to be working on shoring up our flank and the same time we are fighting these battles. On top of this, it is about unity of a profession. It really cannot get any simpler than that. Over time isolationism has not worked.
The idea of voting the current ALPA out and then seeing ALPA implode to have a new Majors Only ALPA rise from the ashes is a long ball at best. Look no further than the AFA vote where many that did not want AFA were voting yes, to them turn vote them out for IAM.

Another testimonial:
"GRR is the home of international powerhouses like Amway and CaseSteel. Amway. "
I lived in the U.P. It's Steelcase not CaseSteel and Amway is on there twice? This is a testimonial from someone who says he went back and spoke to the important customers and heard their complaints. Why would your PR person let that go? Everybody is happy to fact check every single thing ALPA puts out and correct spellings of wall postings in the lounge, but the DPA gets a free ride? This is the website they have invited newspapers and television stations to look at. It boggles my mind.

And then there are the haters. Here is a mythical enterprise, that so far has nothing to show but a website and some talk, and yet here people are balling themselves up into hysterics and wrapping themselves in the ALPA flag as if the organization is the raison d'etre, rather than the good of the DAL pilots.
