It is a commitment. If you are in 20, the rest of the guys I know up there seem to like the three representing you currently.

My LEC Reps have always gotten back to me in a timely manner, and I really appreciated their responses even if it was conflicted with my ideas. But, what I NEVER have received is a response from Moak on anything I contacted directly him about. I have sent him 5 emails during my tenure at DAL and not once did I ever get any type of response. Each email requested a direct response of some type but I was completely "blown off" by him.

The Winter on is in the file library on the C44 website. I do not know where the Fall 2009 one went. It is no longer there.

Well...would perhaps the DALPA communications chairman have that being that he held the office over that time period?

that's right.. it is the COMMITTEE that determines the pay/benefits... or it is the BOD that sets those numbers. How obvious does the corruption have to be for you to see it?

I cannot believe you post those statistics regarding the president's bennies without being so outraged yourself that you could finish the post. I mean really...
And the paycut you describe is nowhere near enough.

T, the President's pay is based on what he can hold with his system seniority number at his on airline, or the averageof the top paying positions of 5 ALPA airlines, he's the only national officer who is on permanent leave from his airline and since he is therefore not able to have an airline funded DB or DC plan he gets to accrue a DB while he's president, besides that he gets a place to stay while he's away from home, per diem while he's away from home and a car to drive to work. Wow, the outrage of it all. I mean line pilots would never get per diem, or a place to stay, or a ride to and from the airport when their away from home.

Spin it any way you want, but it has been significantly reduced.
