Oh... and if I failed to attempt to clarify anyone else who might have been misunderstood... please accept my apologies!
That was my point exactly. It's hard to predict how DPA will tally up the pilot's opinions...since DPA is not even born yet. In order for DPA to be born, a tally of cards has to take place (by some gov't agency).

That is NOT what I said. I said the first poll is going to be the counting of cards for the decertification of ALPA. I said THAT "poll" will be controlled by the NLRB, which is apparently the wrong gov't agency.

He has ruffled some feathers and I understand why. I don't always support his approach or opinions but he makes many valid points about problems within ALPA. These are problems which many supporters of the status quo completely ignore or gloss over at best. I don't think he's blindly supporting anything if you are referring to his support of DPA. Competition is a good thing for all of us.
Thanks dude!

Ok. Then tell me, Carl, who will control the surveys and polls at the DPA?

Don't try to be clever, please. Do some research and tell us if the organization you support has a plan for getting accurate feedback from us.

Take it another step, and describe the way you'd like to see feedback collected and handled. Should it be done by polling? Should the polling or survey results be published?

DPA card sent. Scope, pay and retirement. ALPA, you had your chance. Already sick of hearing "expect minimal gains in 2012" from the ALPO gang.

Really?

Well, I'm sick of hearing "expect a pay cut if we get in charge because we really don't have a clue what we're doing" from the DPA gang.

I think the amount of cards that get sent in will be the first poll.

That is the exact opposite of what is coming from the DPA camp. Setting the expectation bar low is exactly what I keep hearing from the ALPA camp.

And expecting a pay cut is exactly what I keep hearing from DPA...

I can keep making stuff up just as fast as you and Toga, capncrunch.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^this. +1

The thought that our ALPA negotiators are setting the bar low and trying to keep expectations at a minimum is sickening. It reminds me of a dog thats been on a leash too long, soon enough you don't need a leash because the dog thinks it's on one and wont stray. It's called Learned Helplessness.
