Moak was not involved with the MEC when the decision was made in LOA 46 to allow the E170/175 at the mainline. The 50 seaters had been allowed long ago.

Sailing reread your first sentence. Do you mean allowed at DCI?

Those jets are always allowed to be at mainline

As for what he is saying, it is correct. The previous administration allowed them, not lee. Lee the Neg Committee, the MEC Council, and ultimately the pilots though MEMRAT, in 1113C, came to an agreement with the company for 76 seat jets tied to mainline growth. (we all know that linage)
The triggers that allowed the 50 seat market and the percentage of block hrs for DCI to increase and ultimately not be a limit were part of agreements in 2001. We are now left with haul limits on 255 total 70/76 seat jets and no limits on 50 seaters.

DAL is still parking 50 seaters. Cmr will park half their 50 seaters, are you saying that there are 70 seaters and 76 seaters on order to replace them?

Hasn't mainline capacity increased year over year and regional capacity decreased?

Maybe that's a future trend.
I believe Chautauqua EMB-145's are still being replaced by Shuttle America 170's as we speak.

They have a hard limit of 255. They are getting very close to that limit with the Horizon 700's that ASA recently took delivery off. If Shuttle America is in fact doing this, it is allowed by the PWA.

You may disagree with the need for DPA, but Carl's support doesn't make him dishonest any more than your support for all things ALPA makes you dishonest.

I believe Shuttle America has 16 E170s flying for DCI, the same number they had in '09.

Yeah there is still some room for 70 seaters. I believe ASA got 4 70 seaters, but I'll have to look closer at the numbers.

I note that the first time you've objected to the use of the word "shill" was when it was applied to DPA. How many times has it been applied to your fellow pilots by Carl?
