Had this been my child I would have hired a VERY good lawyer and sued the airline AND the F/A who did this bigtime. I would also try to get the F/A arrested for kidnapping.
Once again it seems the second you step on an aircraft, all your civil rights seem to be left at the airport. Tell me what right a F/A has to take MY child away from me. Does she know the medical history of my child? I hope the airline pays out big for this and it NEVER happenes again. I probably would have been arrested for assault if ANYONE on an airplane tried to take away my child.

Kudos to the FA.

If that neighbor was you, then yes I would berate you since I suspect that you are part of the problem since your statement makes no sense. The parent disciplined the child and you say kudos to the F/A for taking the child away, then you attack me as someone who does not want my child disciplined. Make up your mind. Can the usher in a movie theater take away your baby? Can a waitress in a restaurant do it? Now if the F/A had told the Captain that a parent smacked their child and she thinks the police should be waiting at the gate I could almost see that as a way to go.
Kudos to the lawyer that gets money from SW on this one. Any Attorneys want to chime in???

Of course all the angst is based on a news service report so who knows what the REAL story is... slapped could mean punched repeatedly or more than likely, a simple tap....

Do the right thing. It's simple. Help those who aren't capable of helping themselves.
I understand this struck a nerve with you, but it makes you come across as a emotionally charged, money grubbing *****. "How can someone do something that gets me paid?" That's a sick way to go through life.

But am I wrong to conclude that the lower the ticket price, the lower the class of people that buy the tickets? You don't see the poor buying seats on Netjets.
