From the Amish. Why do you ask?

Yup, they've gone to all laser printers from Amish-Packard. They got them all for free because they were able to sell all their dot matrix stuff to Delta.

Did you have to use SATCOM, or did you manage to dial 9 for an outside line?

None of this, of course, explains how JetBlue can SE taxi their 320's "95% of the time", and we're only good for 5%.

When they give us even the slightest bit of respect by sharing even the smallest portion of the profit from these types of savings... then Ill do it. Until then, this is being little more than a management tool.

"Pouf!" it's already been done. You already get a share in the profits. Now taxi like evryone else.

Please re-read my article. It's the way the fNWA was taught on the 320. It will take time. And I believe it will improve as more "cross-polinization" occurs.

I'm riding in the back of a 320 from MSP-MEM-MSY tonite and they both taxied out with both engines. No reason.

reddog,

Is there any data to support the actual savings of fuel at the heavier weights? Is there a published report where two planes at identical weights travel the same taxi route and show the difference between fuel used? What I see in ATL during my commutes is a lot of high power settings during breakaway, acceleration and during uphill taxi segments. Then there's the high power settings during crossbleed start. I've never seen an actual side by side comparison.
