Letter 3/Supp W was expired when Eagle ran a vacancy/displacement bid after parking all Saab 340 and some EMB 135 aircraft. The flowbacks didn't have an agreement anymore that allowed them to hold CA seats. The 244 flowthroughs should have been transferred to AA more than a year prior to the expiration of Letter 3/Supp W.

I applaud your defense of AA at all times. I would too if I couldn't go anywhere else.

It's a little ironic that an AA pilot would say something like that when they are the ones who started the B-scale.

Just pointing out the facts Boss... not defending AA or B-scales at all, but if you guys want to launch flak our way with your lame attempts at justifying Supp W (or Letter 3 or whatever it's called over there), just realize it doesn't make much sense when your pilot group and MEC agreed to signing it in the first place. You sound a lot like the USAir Easties crying after they AGREED to neutral binding arbitration, then didn't like the result.

When you guys increase pay and working conditions up from rock bottom, then you can talk.

Flyby... you nailed it as well. Really disappointing to hear some AE pilots talking the way they do, especially since all of my AE friends are nothing like that. But hey, I know we have more than our fair share of bad apples over here at Skynaziland as well. Peace out,

So my friend flying the EMB making 160K a year is at rock bottom? How much does a reserve MD80 captain make or a 777 FO at AA? BTW, since your contract is expired does that mean all the AA guys lose their seniority?

How much do our first year FOs make at AE? Not so high-and-mighty as $160k/yr. Remember, we have just as many FOs as we do CAs. We are a pathetic group of individuals. Raising the bar starts at the bottom.

Yeah, your bud has been here for damn near 20 years or more. Our pay, for us 3 year folks sucks. But that's what I signed up for. Knew what to expect. Except I didn't expect the us vs. them crap. That's the main reason why I'm trying to go else where.

With or without the A and B plans and cheaper benefits? Or do you want him to fly the same 95 hours a month that probably goes with the 160k Eagle guy?
