The way I understand it, no Eagle pilot can flow until the 70 or so AA pilots furloughed between Jan and Feb 28, 2009, get recalled... including previous deferrals. Then, there are approx. 250 AE pilots who flow in seniority order.... so it will be a mix of AA and AE pilots coming forth. THEN, the remaining 800 or so AE pilots would come over with the first off-the-street AA new hires.

Any AE pilots, please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Welcome back to our furloughees, and welcome AE FTs. I think this is just the beginning.

Pretty close. First are any deferals who choose to come back, which is guesstimated to fill the first couple of classes (someone on another board says there are over 700; the big question is how many want back now?), then the 80-100 (?) early '10 furloughees have to be offered, then all of the 179 at Eagle who've chosen (irrevocably) to go. After that it's pure seniority, with Eagle having an additional few hundred slots already reserved at the bottom of the list (which may be declined), then an additional 824 from Eagle at 1:1 with street hires. Potentially 1300 Eagles could go by the time it's all said and done (that's half the list and why some say Eagle's basically already stapled by the arbitrator if any one-list discussions get serious).

Anywhere from 0-179 Eagles will flow by June. My guess is maybe 100 or so. Hopefully for everyone involved the recalls will continue after that.

Just back from my junket, and the sweeping are reveling that AMR is close to a APA with RJET for F9,YX,and S5. RJET is in a MOU with AMR on a JV for a 50% APA of MQ with a ten 10 year CPA on MQ, YX current routes and a ASA on YX, S5 non-current route with UA,US, and DL.

DW

Anyone know anything about more deals being made.

Apparently BB has not been around for the last few months. Word was he was going to Dallas. I still place this in the BS column as this has not been verified. Also heard that RAH has taking up most of the space in the AA mx hanger in MCI. They could be in cahoots together.
