AA Recall Rumor
#201
On top of this, AMR has to be watching DAL, especially with DAL's build up in NYC. With DAL putting down 50 seater's and pulling MD-80's out of the storage you have to wonder if they're not on to something
Plus we have the new VP of flight running around from base to base telling pilots that a recall is coming soon. October is the month AMR sets their plan in motion for the following year, so if there is any truth to any of these rumors, we'll know in the next 2 or 3 weeks.

Eagle is adding instructors asap as well and is rumored to have stated hiring of 300 in 2011. This would seem to support the theory that our remaining 180 renumerated flow-throughs will be transferring to AA next year, after the 100ish furloughs from earlier this year. So maybe a few hundred vacancies at AA next year?
