I have a report from AA saying they expected only 5 retirements this year. I think they have had over 80 this year already.

Simple. You have your opinion, I have mine. Other than Eagle pilots & Nicolidiot, you probably won't find anyone else who would agree with the decision. It's preposterous. AA should recall furloughees FIRST, then bring Eagle FTs up, who would then be senior to many furloughees. That would be fair. But hiring FTs before AA pilots who were furloughed are recalled just isn't right.
Woulda, coulda, shoulda. The short answer is the APA botched the arbitration and now you are paying the price for it. At least they won the arbitration that you had flow back rights to Eagle.

Wrong. In case you didn't know, the furloughed group of AA pilots, 2,890 total, was split into two; "Haves" and "Have-Nots", essentially. If you were furloughed prior to April 30th,2003, you did NOT have flowback rights to Eagle, you only had 6 months of medical benefits and only 90 days of AA passes. If you were furloughed after that date, you had flow-back rights to Eagle CJ CA (as EagleFly said it could earn $80,000k/yr), got 1 year of medical and 24 months of AA passes. See the difference? Those furloughed prior to April 30,2003 were mostly TWA pilots; obviously APA wouldn't lift a finger for them. The next 1400 furloughed pilots included 700 AA native pilots.

Of course, no other airline divided their furloughees into have's and have-nots, as AA so eloquently did. DL, US and UA even gave all furloughed pilots passes until they were recalled. AA refused. Anyone suprised?

B757200ER has the facts exactly correct. I have never seen the situation stated so succinctly.
In light of this I expect recalls to resume when the last TWA staplee turns 65.Anything more advantageous will be a surprise.

You sound bitter. Since it was always the AA pilots who screwed you, why are you always taking it out on the Eagle pilots?

Not sure of the rate, but it appears that they park one for each new 737 they get... I do know that last summer, they decided to not park as many S80s as they said they would.
