Spirit pilots have a TA!!!

If not then, he shouldn't be complaining. Or..... let me guess, in three years he will, as well as you be complaining about the extra taxes you have to pay
No.. you guys crack me up! Actually the contract is good for "MOST" of us.
90x12= more then 1000 hrs a year. Come on really???? You think so.... it won't happen with vacation, recurrent, sim. etc....
Stop looking at the TA through a straw lens and you will see it is not bad.

Hey Ram, you want some cheese with all that whine? Man you've done so much cryin on this board I dont even see how you've had the time to read any of the TA. We get it, you dont like the TA. Vote no and quit all your b'ing!

You just struck; you should be industry leading.... Show me the rates... Most airlines are working under CONSESSIONARY CONTRACTS. If you are only average, that means you are on par with the 2001-2004 concessionary contracts. This means you will hurt the bargaining power of the other airlines in, or soon in section 6. THANKS AGAIN ALPA!!!

I agree 100%. What the heck is all that strike money ALAP set aside doing? I'm paying all these dues for what??? Spirit is still a sub par airline that hurts the negotiating power of us all!!! When you sign this TA you will still be below industry avg, and in 5 years from now you will still be below industry avg. In 2 years every airline will have a new CBA or be deep in section 6. We will have to bargin against your rates!!!

Oh my, another anonymous Internet big mouth telling us what to do. Listen up.
Let's say it again. One can only negotiate from what is. It's not our fault that others agreed to concessionary contracts in hard times. They hurt us all by doing that. Now we have to build from that base.
So, in negotiations, they take the INDUSTRY average. That includes all those concessionary contracts. We strove for parity with the industry average and we got it. We hope that within the next five years, US Airways, United, Delta, Continental, etc will increase wages because they are part of what drove the average down. Then we will have a higher industry average from which to negotiate going forward.
Our NC was top notch.
I've already voted. Most have too, I'll. So why the continued debate as if you are going to sway someone?

Wait... It is your fault we we had to take concessions!!! You were flying around md-80s and a320s for $120 in left seat and $60 in the right, and not charging any thing to do it. That what hurt this industry.
