Regarding TA's; I can not wait till a new contract is up for negotiation and some of the "experts on negotiations" step up to bat and get us that contract that everyone is happy with or...... mellow from sourgrapes into a fine wine when you realize that is not going to happen.

BTW: I'm sure there will be plenty of volunteers for the next NC team???? Thanks guys
That's the attitude!!! Let's give up......

Unfortunately your user name is fitting....... Go enjoy your four days off shipmate you've earned it or pick up some OT while you can get it for 150% if that makes you happy???

Where did I say I'm giving up? I want to move forward>

BTW: ever think the company might want us to vote it down so when we go back to get "what we deserve" they pull stuff out of the TA(pretty sure they can do that?). Think that might have come across their minds, I'm thinking so, but what do I know..... Will they let it go to a strike, probably not but who's to say they won't? Do you really think that we will "all" walk out again? If YOU sir, can guarantee we will get something better then I'm right there with you! If not, I'll trust what the NC has offered us and move on......

Hmmm, that maybe the case. I was watching the guy who normally comments in those situations.

As far as circus, people have said that about ALL our former MEC Chairman, eh?

Congratulations!!!! You almost matched jblue e-190 payscales. actually 5 year E-190 FO will still be $6 more than your TA....

Vote NO! Get what we're worth!! We barely match Airtran's current contract from 2001....That's almost a decade ago.....yikes.....

a-increase signing bonus
b-increase pay rates
c-stock options

it's not rocket science....Send it Back...

The guy who came to the morning roadshow after a few drinks was quite a treat.

He started out complaining about the difference in FO pay but finally got to the real heart of the issue, "I care about me"

Seems there's only one way to get a better TA if they vote this one down, that would be to have total unity like during the strike. If that unity is weakened then a NO vote could be very scary.

If a NO vote is accompanied by strong support, you might be able to get what you want. Leave the current Reserve and Sec 25 alone. 90 hour lines, you might as well agree to "sesonal" furloughs. I recall that being something mgmt wanted a few years ago.Why should the company get concessions other than what they've already enjoyed since the start of Spirit. Lack of pay parity over the past several years, Pilots, you have given plenty.

Maybe the NC knows much more than those on the outside. I suspect they do. However if you're going to vote NO as a group then you better be willing to send in a new NC that will fight the fight and have the pilots backing them to the end.

Perhaps when you've been in the Lions Den so long as the NC has, your focus changes. Just too much time getting beat down can change your focus. There will be others to take your place if needed.

Or perhaps the NC knows the size of the pie and the financial condition of the company, thus knowing how far they can go...

Is there anywhere to view a simple comparison of the current contract with the TA?

It's more than just pay rates

Every "NO" voter I've talked to, that has had a chance to go to a road show, is now a resounding "Yes" voter.
