Planning your monthly income on OT is ridiculous!
Want more money, CHANGE JOBS.
Want JB pay, go to JB
Want SW pay, go to SW
Want FEX pay, you get the point.
This is Spirit, and you know what you get.
Those of us who think this is a good Draft and believe that the MEC and the negotiations team could not get any more, will vote YES.
Putting this contract down, just because of the pay bracket, is not the smart thing to do.
What do you think is the alternative, and what do you propose?
Asking and not giving doesn't work on this industry. Think about what you are asking and then think about what you'll give up. Because if this little paper doesnt pass, WE ARE GOING TO BE GIVING A WHOLE LOT MORE THAN THE STUPID 150%.

1. You're telling people to just go elsewhere if they don't like the pay here at Spirit. If we all subscribed to that theory before the strike, what do u think would have happened?
2. "This is Spirit, you know what you get." Are we somehow worth less because we work for Spirit?
3. Last but maybe most important, what's up with the doomsday scenario if we vote down the TA. Curiously wondering what you think will happen then.

You guys crack me up on this thread. Certainly respect anybodys opinion, including yours, Sailor. But this post scares me a little.

I do have a question about RSV. Spirit is one of the few places that won't allow reserves to pick up open time. Now if this TA passes, open time will be back to 100% so the company won't be shelling out money. Is this the policy because they want to make sure they always have enough reserves and no one times out or is it because they are cheap. I can probably answer that myself even though I was on property for only 3 months (cheap scumbags) but just wondering if someone can shed any light on the subject.

SCOPE
3. Nothing in this Section shall preclude the Company from entering
into a code-share agreement, a marketing agreement, an interline
agreement, or a pro-rate or block space agreement, so long as
such agreements do not result in the furlough of any of the
Company's pilots
This gets my no vote

another no thing that makes me think NO is the fact that Capt years 1 thru 7 don't get a raise over current contract until DOS+3!! that means the FOs years 3 and 4 who will be captains in 2+ years based on BIN Baldanzas growth plans will have taken a pay CUT!

NO!!, Im saying you cant get JB or SW pay when you are not working for those companies, e.g. Spirit.
No, we are not worthless, the company thinks we are, but we are not. You have probably been here long enough to know that.
You not worthless!!
