The rates at DOS+3 and 4 are terrific, however the rest of it is slightly dissapointing. Not seeing many productivity enhancements that would take away from the increase in pay, but I need more time as well.

Terrific? Come on. Think future! Not present. Those rates would not be terrific even today not DOS+4. They would be parity. Not terrific! Think how those rates will compare by the time we will sign the next contract! Think about that! Then vote.

Wasn't NK the 2nd most profitable airline in 2009 with 25 planes? At least here I don't think size matters...

I am thinking future. This contract gets me, a junior FO, to six figures in two years, and keeps our work rules, scope, and retirement. That equates to a secure future for my family(as much as can be with the airlines). This contract turns the Cpt seat at NK into a 200k/year job at the top of the pay scale...im not there yet but I sure intend on getting there.

Not to mention we have the best work rules in the business! Want proof? Im a junior FO and have a 19 day off line next month worth 83 hours. Now if you tell me I can keep a schedule like that, keep good scope, 9% 401k match, good health insurance at a reasonable price, AND make over 100k, thats ok with me. No doubt we didnt hit a home run with the pay scale here, but im willing to take a stand up double.

Im a yes vote.

Six figures might be alittle high. If you're a 5 year FO now in two more years you'll be making alittle less than 90 an hour. That means you'd have to average 90-95 hours a month in pay. That is doable but I don't think likely. Yes, we do have good work rules ie trip and duty rigs but remember this is giving up open time at 150%.

Don't get me wrong I think this is a very good contract, but I do think pay could be alittle better. $100 an hour for a 5 year FO should be minimum but thats just my opinion.

with our work rules 95 hours a month is no problem at all, unless you are on reserve. I agree, pay could be a little better, but I have read the TA and when I look at the document as a whole I am happy with it.
