I'm 1000% with you on this Sailor... That's the problem with this country. Everyone is a single issue voter! It Fn' ****es me off! Look at the whole package! The 4 days off and tightening up of the language was the most important thing for me personally. Yes! I'm an F/O! I wish I made more but, where else would you get the work rules we have??? Suggestions??? None? Thought so...

P.S. Scope is now apparently bullet proof now.

I find that laughable!! I would rather work 4 on 3 off and or 3 on 4 off any day over this 6 on 4 off crap we see here. Were else are there work rules as GOOD as ours?? There is better QOL at regionals. My buddies at SWA rarely work more than 3 day on. Buddies at American Eagle work either 4 on 3 off or 3 on 4 off. I really think the 4 days off thing is nice, but we need to reign in these 6 day blocks.

Kingjay, 6 on RSV I presume, I am a JR fo at acy, my lines are 4-5 on 4 OFF.

I know about AE first hand, and after 6 yrs I can tell you that sucked! Specially if you were commuting. Even as a Sr FO.

Their is DEF not better QOL at regionals, or American Eagle for that matter! (I am former) the 6 on 4 off crap you refer to is probably reserve lines. why don't you ask a CA or UA pilot how they like pref bidding?!? try 6 on 2 off 6 on! What is the matter with you guys!?! You have to give and take. From what we know, we gave very little, and came up with raises and cash.

I was smoking crack on the picket line. I walked hard. I spent 7 glorious years at eagle. I spent the last 3 of those working 3 on 4 off. I have good friends at other carriers, and they work similar schedules. There are worse! I know that, but we dont have GREAT QOL here. I think that we could improve on that, especially for those of use who commute. The lines in FLL are regularly built to 5 or 6 days often with a none commutable turn on the front back or both. A little more union oversight in the building of lines would be nice to see.

Well, if the Spirit management wants to continue it's poor decision making....then, yeah that would be the way to go.

Let's hope they've realize the error of their way and begin making smart business moves. Treating your employees properly would be a great start.

If you spent 7 glorious years at Eagle; chances are we know each other. I worked 4 on 3 off, plus commuting and it was horrible. People need to appreciate this protection and realize what its worth. A little less pay in exchange for other contractual gains; it all equals out. I just don't like the apparent negative attitude people have displayed about the very FEW details we have at this time......
