As of Wednesday, picketing in FLL will be briefing at 4pm, picket 5-7pm. This is due to extreme heat in South Florida. All other locations are unchanged. Please call strike center at (800) 662-2572 before you go for up-to-date information.

It was decided to combine LGA with ACY due to hardships for our crews getting into/out of LGA.

I was just telling this to someone today after I sneaked into the van that went to the airport to avoid further burns by not going to picket again at Griffin. Then later for the last 30 mins they shipped my ass over to Griffin road anyways. 95F in my car by 1:30PM. My nose looks like a red FIRE EXTNG pushbutton. "God bless" the guy who made this decision to put the picketing to 4PM.

By the way the turnout at Griffin road (FLL) was awesome today. I heard 150-160 in the brutal heat walking the line. Again guys from Comair, Gulfstream, Conti, AmeriJet, Air Tran, Delta, United, Atlas and others... along with us and our FAs. Like 20-30 FAs at least. I was trying to memorize some faces. I will definitely be there walking with them when their time comes. We are just getting warmed up folks!

Someone above asked where we meet in FLL. I guess starting Wednesday, 4PM briefing in the Sheraton that is right south of the field on Griffin Road. Refreshment, coffee and snacks are available. See you there!

For all of us who have been, are now, or will in the future walk the line on behalf of your industry, thank you.

I was jumpseating home last week and heard some interesting things.
Spirit Pilots are having some difficulty gaining access thru TSA.
Spirit Pilots are having issues with various airlines trying to enter them into their computer system since Spirit Mgmt shut down CASS.
It seems that everyone wants to help them get home, but some are helpless to do anything as their computers won't issue a pass without CASS.
Spirit Pilots are getting so much support from other airlines in general and more specifically; I ran into a pilot / hero / soldier of our cause who after 16 hours of duty, commuted into FLL to walk with Spirit Pilots, then commuted out to his home base, arriving into his home base more than 17 hours after finishing walking the line for Spirit Pilots benefit.
My hat is off to you.
