Airline Apps - Recs (DAL)
I have a question about the recs on airline apps. When I look at my recommendations, it lists the person's personal email, even though the request was sent to their delta account. How do I know that Delta can see it came from a Delta account, if it is showing a personal email address? Anyone else have this, or did it show the person's delta account? Thanks.

The person that wrote the rec put their personal email address in. They have to manually type the address in, and apparently they didn't type their delta.com email.

Thank you...Will Delta know the request was sent to his Delta email account, or do they just see what I see, the personal email account?

Send them the rec again. Copy it to a word document and send it back to them, then send them another request for a rec and instruct them to use their delta.com e-mail addy.
Do what I stated above so that it gets this "hit." That is how they have instructed us to do it, so do it that way. Once they have redone the rec with the delta.com e-mail addy, delete the first one with the personal e-mail address.

Wow. I just did a couple of letters. I had them send me the requests to my delta.com email, but out of habit I placed my personal email in the actual rec letter. So I should do those all over again, huh?

I was told if you use your Delta address it is easier for the recruiters to see that the applicant has internal recs. They don't have to actually read the rec to see you are a current pilot. Basically they will look into an individual who has 5 internal recs before someone who has 5 recs from yahoo addresses which they can see without reading all the recs if that makes sense.

Reaccomplishing the rec is easy if you can get them to copy and paste your current rec into an email and then send you a new rec request for you to repost. Then they can have both before deleting the incorrect (old) one.
