I was a little worried about that too. I had the whole section on traffic tickets full. I had a several along the years and really had a long gap from college till interview with the exception of two back to back turn violations 2 months prior to the interview. They asked about it and and I explained the backwards driving rules in New Jersey (Im from Atlanta) and they actually got a laugh out of the explanation. They hadn't ever heard of turning right to turn left with the right 270. They even had me draw it out on a piece of paper. It was actually pretty funny and made the interview a little more relaxed. Like someone else said, the most important thing is to be honest.

All, I know a couple of guys that were scheduled for interviews during the last hiring spell and were subsequently canceled. Anyone know if they will be calling the ones in that position first then to the app pool or will they be thrown back in with the masses? Thanks.

Ditto on the integrity. If they even suspect in the slightest that you're not completely forthright, the music is over.
I had a couple of speeding tickets in college 20 years ago. I made a WAG at the dates and then told them so during the interview. They were completely satisfied. They don't expect you to know specific dates of events that happened a couple of decades ago.
I also remember there were also some questions on the application I wasn't sure how to answer (I don't remember which, it's been a while). I made it a point to bring those up so I could be sure they were answered to their satisfaction. Again, I didn't want to come across as hiding something. One or two times, they had me amend something on their printed-out copy of my application and sign it. No big deal.

If there is something you don't feel comfortable with/ insecure about then get interview prep for it and be prepared to handle it like a champ.
Be more concerned about your letter's of recommendation then a couple of speeding tickets. That, tied with your qualifications are what tells them you are worth interviewing.
