Sailing,
Actually, he has.
PM sent.
It was very clearly my recall that Chairman Moak supports current scope language and would try to build a floor underneath it through supporting regional negotiations and building bridges via flow through agreements.
If you're delivering the good news that something has changed, please hold forth
In the mean time, I'm not expecting SkyWest and Teamsters to do much to build a foundation under our negotiations for 100 seat, MD88, or some 737 flying.
... and tip of the hat to you Sir, I'm having to back off my December 2010 furlough prognostication, although I've not ordered a plate of BBQ Crow yet.

open window for apps
Does anyone have any insight on when one can expect Delta to start making calls or emails to start scheduling interviews. I think Aug was the projection on when the actual interviews are scheduled to begin. Any inside info would be helpful.
Cheers

Aug, but they may call guys for a pre screen with the CPO prior to that. They are definitely ramping up the cog.
I was told there are over 6K applications, and a lot of guys from UAUA, UPS, AMR etc, and pilots that are active not on furlough. It is going to be very very competitive.

How big of an impact do speeding tickets have on one's chances of an interview? Being a RSV captain at my current airline and frequently short-called, I've had an unfortunate streak of tickets. Just curious how big of a hole I may have dug myself...

Don't leave any tickets out. They don't care how long ago they were, I was asked to add two that were over 10yrs old. With everything about Delta its integrity. Take ownership of your mistake and they're ok. Lie and you're done!

Same here. I listed a ticket I got in back in High School (three total lifetime). Don't worry if you don't have the exact date. I put the 15th of the month for each and the interviewer commented on the "Ides of March". I explained and he said good.

Doh!
Becha you were late after getting the ticket eh?
