That's wrong. They should be Delta pilots the day they start training to fly Delta passengers in Delta jets.
I know it's Moak's "vision" and I know you're with me on them being Delta pilots. Hope somehow we can draw a circle that includes these and other pilots who perform Delta work.

Well there was a meeting at the end of last week with the head of mec's at DCI carriers, delta and moak included. I assure you that I do not spreed rumor. My record on this forum is not to instigate, the message and order given by moak too the head of all DCI carrier's. The classes were said to be more of a trickle then the larger lump sum classes. The amount of pilots to be brought in this year was the 300 number. Next year sounds like the spicket may finally open up for long term. You have no reason to believe me but before you dismiss me as someone stirring the pot, you should check with moak. Time will tell but check with moak before telling someone "um no"
My main point was that your list of hiring order did not even include military. Since he (Moak) was talking to the commuters I don't doubt what was fed. I am saying don't buy into it. There is no way, especially coming from MOAK who is Military, that they won't be high up in the mix rather than not making your list at all. JMO

Wrong. With so many degrees one would think you would have read the post I was responding to first and included that in your evaluation. The original post showed NO military. So as a Delta pilot yourself you must then feel that this is accurate? Also my response to this inaccuracy was putting military fourth on the list of five, how again does that show a military bias?

Long time Lurker here, so now I decided to join the fray
It would be great that some day we could get DAL system seniority numbers for the Delta Connection pilots on day one of their employment with that carrier. I am sure it is a long time off and there are many competing interests but it would solve a great many of these issues.

Not to mention, how many DCI carriers perform flying ONLY for Delta? Quickly off the top of my head, I believe Comair, Compass, Mesaba, and maybe Pinnacle are the only ones.
This would be nearly impossible to do, and as others have stated, legitimize the B-scale that is currently in place with the DCI pilot groups.

I do not argue that one bit.
The DCI carriers (many of them) that are flying for two, three etc carriers also is an issue. It in a nut shell makes retaking the flying the best option.
I just do not see that happening this section six cycle. People want pay and work rule improvements with no scope sale.
