You mean NWA? NWA furloughs, got it.

They do have a military conversion and it's handled by the software at airlineapps.com. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe it's per sortie and that's why the site asks for the number of sorties.

If you have more specific questions feel free to drop me a PM or just ask here.

Good Luck!

Default Currency issue

What level of currency will fit the bill for DAL? Been flipping switches in the back of the box at FSI lately...

I'd assume this is a relative number with the number of apps they get, however, the only thing that matters is that you apply, update, and let them decide.

Thanks! Great info! I have updated my application continuously for the last couple of years. This is exciting!

You will do fine.

As far as ties. I wore blue ties at 3 different Major Airline Interviews and 6 Regional Interviews. I got hired at all those places.

The only time I wore a Red tie was at a UAL interview. I got denied.

Look Sharp, Clean and UNIFORM. You will get hired.

TYG
It's interesting reading posts about how to dress for an interview--I always thought pilots were a classy bunch without even trying!

My grandfather always looked sharp in his military uniform. I thought all pilots already looked professional, hehe

You buy Mr. Lim you have 2 complaints: Looks too good, lasts too long.

You've got to watch old Mr Lim...he'll linger on the old inseam measurement if he thinks he can get away with it.

(from what I read in another thread they dont have to interview or anything, they just go to new hire class.)
Delta does OWN Compass and Mesaba, so the now have some control. NWA controlled the hiring at Compass. Going forward, I'm sure Delta will ensure the "right stuff" ends up at these two.
