Delta is hiring now

The only rec I had was from a retired guy (not my dad).... so they do respect their retirees.
I know of several pilots' kids that got interviews. Several of them proved that it wasn't a guarantee to be hired.

Almost all of those were PRIPS. I believe one was a termination.

Why the Tie?
Showing up in a dark suit, pressed white shirt, red tie and polished shoes tells the interviewer that you did some research about Delta. It's the traditional "Delta Uniform" for the interview. Show them you understand Delta traditions and that you are trying to fit in.
Nobody lost "points" in the interview for wearing a red tie, just go with the flow. If you are a die hard non-conformist, flying the line at Delta isn't for you anyway.
