Cute Badger?
No More Midwest Airlines | Today's TMJ4 - Milwaukee, Wisconsin News, Weather, Sports, WTMJ | Local News
Bedford said Frontier would add a plane with Wisconsin's state animal, the badger. It wasn't as easy as some of the other animals on its planes.
"It's hard to find a cute badger," he said
How can someone so, supposedly, intelligent continue to put his foot in his mouth? And in the very city where he is fighting for his life for market share.

I agree that Bedford has had his fair share of "foot in mouth" moments but do you really think the average flyer is sitting around hanging on every word he says? You have to remember that we are all somehow related to the airline world on these aviation web boards and we look into it much deeper than the general public. I have relatives that are very frequent fliers and they don't even know whats going on with the whole Midwest/Frontier thing. Realize that outside of the aviation world no one really cares what Bedford or any of the other airline execs say. All they care about is saving the most money to get them from point A to B. I don't think some lady who lives in the MKE suburbs is going to go berserk and only fly Airtran because Bedford said that it was hard to find a cute Badger. I could be wrong though...
