perhaps, but still below World, NAA, SWA, JetBlue, Atlas, Airtran, and more. and that isn't even considering the really low domestic rate.

If you like pay rates 40% below ACMI average you might as well take low per deim rates. I can't beleive they are actually getting people to apply.

I can't believe that people on here continually bash others decisions to try and apply to a carrier because of union affiliation, payscale, etc... Jesus man, were not talking about scabbing here for crying out loud! Everyone is so holier than thou behind the keyboard with their misplaced pride and judgment of others..

It's not like this guy is a recent riddle grad looking to jump the turnstile and fly a heavy for peanuts to get ahead.... Have you seen the job market lately? Are you living in a cave? I assume you have no other friends than your fellow DAL buddies you play tennis with on the weekends.. I have some news for you: It's hell out there..

If something bad happens and I needed to find another job, I'd go to Omni, Evergreen, shoot..... whoever would take me.. We are all on the same team here. Our industry is in a major downturn and period of transition and who the hell knows if and when that is going to change...

Check your calendar pal, it isn't 1999 anymore... There's not much work out there for those of us that chose this line of work.. You take what you can get and you get through....

Herman, good luck and if you don't get the call from Omni, try Allegiant... We will be hiring 757 FOs sometime in early 2011... I'd offer to give you a hand, but I was one of the guys trying to make AAY better by bringing on ALPA... For that I'm not the most popular guy with the decision makers...
