As far as I am concerned, there is an easy way to solve this mess. Mr BB and Republic can give me a large lump sum and I will go away. It's only fair. You bought my company, put your people in it, ruined it, destroyed what my fellow YX employees and I took years and years to build and in less than six months, turned it into an RJ trash hauler, threw us out in the streets, stripped us of our non rev rights, trashed our contract and now have locked us out. $150,000 and I will exit stage right. Then you and your low ball flight crews can save MKE.

MD 80: I say that because it sounds like you, like the rest of everyone else, already knows that RAH/F9/YX are being tight-lipped about it and they (and we on APC) won't hear anything until after it is arbitrated. Maybe it was innocent enough, but it sure seems like bait.

Dirty Rat: RAH caused YX to go under? Hmmm, I met a former CP of YX (M. R----t) and asked him about the YX and RAH deal. He informed me that he thought that YX was slowly bleeding to death 5 years ago - so how that could be the RAH guys fault, I don't know??? He also said that RAH had "saved" YX from going under (his word not mine). Now, I'd believe that the RAH operation of YX is a half-assed managed effort at best. And I know a few RAH guys that have told me that they are disappointed in the operation in MKE.

Why would you want to go back to fly for a company that you feel so strongly against? I mean, if I were a pilot there, I'd feel obligated to call the Prof. Stds folks because your venomous tone is creating an "unsafe environment". I'm sorry that you lost your job, but I thought that you were a professional?

Santa, Midwest pilots see things alittle different.

TPG/NWA blocked AirTrans purchase by offering $450 million compared to AirTrans cash/stock offer of just under $450 million. They were talks about a future merger of Midwest into NWA and growing Midwest with E170/E190.

Bedford wanted to find a branded airline to fly so Republic had a home for its aircraft if the majors started to play hardball. He talked about keeping extra cash on hand just for that reason in 2006.

TPG and BB met in early 2008 with the Frontier BK. TPG wanted E170/E190 and BB wanted an airline. A perfect match.

TPG could have sold Midwest to AirTran for over 31 million (Republics price) if they wanted too. They didn't even try because they already had a partner in Republic.

Midwest was not going to go out of business. They didn't even file for BK.

.....

The Midwest pilots only want a Fair and Equitable integration so we can move on and provide for our families. If a integration truly takes this long the Republic EXCO should have agreed to write a LOA so the Midwest pilots had temporary bidding rights.

Yes, I agree, everyone sees things differently.

Good luck to all involved.

Your own union agreed to the timeline that ends in May. I'm baffled why you blame your problems on the RAH exco, when you should be blaming the people you have actually paid to represent you.

The Midwest MEC filed for arbitration like 30 days after the Republic/Midwest deal closed because the Republic EXCO would not schedule meetings.

I think the facts are Republics union was the one delayed talks while the Midwest union was trying to step up the pace.

Come on, do you really think seniority integration needs to take over 10 months.

Once again, this has been beaten like a seriously dead horse!! Temporary bidding rights into what aircraft, what base? Do you think the company was going to pay for you to be trained all over again on possibly another aircraft?

We all want a fair and equitable integration...and we now know when it will happen.
