I just believe that a total integration of all six lists will ruin the whole company (ala America West and US Airways). It would be a miserable place to work and will ruin the product. That is not good for any of us. I could certainly live with the YX pilots on our list as long as they don't bring bad attiudes and spoil our GREAT culture.

F9 and YX pilots have earned a mainline seat. If the RAH pilots want to fly a mainline plane, they should apply and interview for the position just like we all did.
And you made the decision to work for financially unstable companies and earned unemployment. Both should have been left to die on the vine.So now you think you're a mighty "mainline" pilot and RAH pilots are unworthy ? Dream on.Yes,it will be a US/AW mess no doubt ! BB/WH are well on their way to killing the culture,no question about it.But if you think because you fly an Airbus or 717 you're entitled to some type of "super seniority",you're sadly mistaken. You'll be working for RAH-not the other way around. You're the one that should have to interview.Maybe you should resign now.

You made my point for me. Your post is the exact reason integration will never work.

You have to look at it from their point of view. They think they saved us all from finacial ruin. They refuse to call it what it was, a merger. Again, the only ones who have made out well on all of this is the Republic pilots. They feel a two year F/O should have bidding rights above an 18 year YX captain. I am sure the Abitrator will see this for what it is and rule likewise.

Absolutely not. I do not think that I am a mighty mainline pilot. I have the highest respect for RAH pilots and your skills. It is just that we are in different places in our respective airline careers. I have worked for a regional airline while building a resume that afforded me the opportunity to interview for/and obtain a position with a mainline carrier (as you most likely are doing also). I have the highest respect for all RAH pilots, I am just trying to point out why I feel an integration of the groups would be detrimental to all of us.

Integrate F9 and YX, then staple RAH people. That is the only fair and right thing to do. F9 and YX pilots did their time at regionals or even flew in the military. RAH pilots demonstrated the ability to fog a mirror. If that sounds harsh, you must be an rj pilot.

I'm gonna agree with you on this one. The people made the brand what it is. I guarantee you most Frontier flight attendants provide a better service than most republic flight attendants. It is just a different world between the two companies.

How long until Republic starts contracting out regional flying to other airlines? I bet in a couple years republic will be looking to contract out the regional feed to the lowest bidder while furloughing their own.

It amazes me how the Republic pilots keep missing the point that Midwest and Republic merged. They keep saying they, the Republic pilots, saved Frontier from SWA and Midwest from AirTran.

You guys had zero to do it.

Republic was going to start furloughing hundreds of pilots without Frontier and Midwest. Be thankful and stop trying to screw another pilot out of a job.

I'm gonna agree with you on this one.
I will also agree. Frontier was hiring as early as 2 years ago. Within the last 5 years several other airlines had hiring going on as well. By staying at RAH through these hiring cycles, RAH pilots with more than 2 years senority have made it very clear to the arbitrator what their career ambitions and expectations and are.

Yes, back when Midwest had the second longest profitable run of airlines and many of the pilots were hired they should have known 15+ years later that this would happen. I'll remind you of your thoughts in 2 years when this poser of an airline goes down and AirTran and/or Southwest picks up the pieces and leaves the employees to rot.

Man ..... it seems to me that Republic didn't save F9 from SWA ..... from the looks of the toxic bantor on this thread topic, it looks like F9 is in a much worse positon now than it would have been at SWA (even with a staple). It's hard to tell right now, but I wonder how this merger and SLI is going to turn out for F9. All the best brothers ...... remember, we the pilots are just caught in the middle of this terrible thing.
