Who says I need this job? How would grounding an airplane put "blood on my hands?' We want to hurt you, and your company financially. We want to help drive you out of business. That is our plan. We don't care about some dirt bag supervisor either. Your company means nothing to us nor do your rules. From what I am hearing, you are doing a pretty good job of running yourself out of business. Air Tran is winning in MKE and the Reverend is running out of sermons.

Alaska, united, continental, American and many more. Because you were Midwest pilot you are better than others. If your service was so good and you were such good airline than why did airtrain put Midwest out of business

Hey rat get a life move on, whats wrong with you? Aircraft sabotage is a crime be careful what you say. Take your wife out have fun enjoy life! Don't blame anyone but your self. You might not need a job but your fellow ALPA brothers might and they can't afford first year pay at other airlines. Republic, skywest, jetblue, redwood and others are here to stay. Remember it was never your flying never.

Can you not see how you are making it LESS likely for a Midwest pilot to have a job there? Can you not see that you (and a couple others) are making it more difficult for those that do go there (when that time comes)? Can you not see that you are wishing harm upon people who have absolutely nothing to do with your predicament, and many who currently share your predicament?
If the day comes that I am working there and I make an error on the line, do you not see that I will then be suspected of deliberate sabotage as opposed to a simple mistake? If I call in sick, do you not see that as an ex-Midwest pilot I will be suspected of malignering rather than merely sick?
Yes, we don't have jobs, but your rants are making it more difficult for us to find one. Don't you think other airline people read this board? Who wants to hire nut cases? Who wants to hire people so filled with daily rage they can't think rationally?
Lastly, when Skyway was replaced by Skywest, what did you do for them? Did you quit? Did you call for a wildcat strike in support of your brothers and sisters? Did you write USA Today? Or the Journal? Or Tim H.?
I would guess you did the same that everyone at Republic has done. You said that is a shame and outrageous. You expressed sympathy for those affected. Then you picked up your flight bag and went to work. Being enraged at people who didn't harm you is infantile. The system we live in screwed you, not your fellow laborers.

AirTran would have loved to buy Midwest for 31 million. They could use the 717 leases, Midwests gates, Midwests slots, and the Midwest maintenance hanger.
This isn't about selling Midwest to the highest bidder, its about cheap labor.
...
Bedford also spoke of Indianapolis-based Republic’s transformation of Midwest into a “virtual airline” with no airline certificate, and no Midwest-owned or leased aircraft, unions or pension. “All that stuff is gone,” Bedford said.
...
This is union busting
The Teamsters are helping Bedford to undermine another union. The day of the Teamster union is over... alpa is better then I thought.

A little over the top? You should use some of that energy against Rev BB. or isn't that the Teamster way any more.

The garbage haulers union is a joke. Is anyone really sure that they really filed the 190 grievence? Seem to be taken a long time for it to get started. I don't believe they actually filed it. Bunch of pansies. If they have they sure have no urgency about it.

I count only 4..and one of them isn't speaking of doing harm to the RAH operation and its employees,( both current and future). He just has a beef with the position the RAH union has taken.
Did I miss one? (anyway..YX has 390 or so pilots, there is always the proverbial 5% , I suspect we are/were no exception)

My complaint is with the ceo's of these companies who become enriched on the backs of their employees and treat them like garbage while touting their ***** principles.. They are the real enemy.
It's sad to see the level of outright immaturity displayed on this board but, I do not wish to be associated with any posters who have resorted to personal attacks or unprofessional behavior.
If anything this web board has crystallized my perspective with regard to the odds of me returning to a job at Midwest or whatever you call it. It won't happen.
I'll go on observing from the outside how this works out while I continue to help some of my past co-workers to get hired at "Brand X". PM me if I can help.
To all you captains, treat your FO's with the respect they deserve. They may be the ones who will someday give you the helping hand you need. This industry is too small to act otherwise.
