Why are we wasting time... just send it to the arbitator.
--Republic pilots want super seniority because they are the buying company. I mean, why does that mean anything?
--Midwest pilots want there jobs back with date of hire seniority and bumping rights.
--Frontier pilots think they should fly all the big airplanes. SWA wasn't good enough. Do you really think they will agree to be junior to a 2007 new hire at Republic?
Does anyone really thing a integration agreement can be made (after six months) with the differences between these pilot groups?

Touche -- you almost make too much sense. The only way anyone will budge is if they think they have more to lose by going to arbitration. None of these groups is likely to fit that mindset--never mind all 3.

This is tough all the way around
Honestly, I can see the point of each group. Before the buyout, Frontier knew what they were flying (not taking into account potential bankruptcy and liquidation). No question. Now there might be. Frontier and Midwest both want to retain their seniority based on their dates of hire. Why wouldn't they. Seems fair. At the same time, Republic pilots don't want other pilot groups inserted in front of them, regardless of experience, etc... Why would they. After all, if a Frontier or Midwest pilot hired on at Republic, they would go to the back of the seniority line.
Bottom line is that everyone has something to lose. Frontier could lose their seats to more senior Republic guys, Midwest pilots already lost their seats and just want another one, preferably a comparable one and at a respectable pay rate. Republic pilots don't want to lose their seniority because of the buyout.
Does everyone have something to gain? Maybe, maybe not. It's probably a case of perspective. If you had to make the decision, what would you decide? Maybe the Skywest ASA separate pilot group thing wasn't such a bad idea. Who knows

I know he cancelled them right before Christmas and that your MEC wrote a letter to him, any new about that or any possible legal recourse for your pilot group?

Yes the 5th party is management. Everyone sat down and agreed to a time-line the integration would follow. You can find that information posted online.
As stated above all parties agreed to a time-line which must be followed. The section 13b is the only thing factual anyone knows about and it can be found online. Anything else is complete speculation. You might do better sending questions to your integration committee.

Now why would he want to do that? That would not be conducive to starting yet another Republic bash. You would think after that much time in the industry one would know that his union would be a more reliable source of info than this whine and ***** board.
