This message board doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. It will be years before any Midwest pilot flies a Midwest painted airplane if ever again. There were only 120 something Midwest pilots active at the time of the merger. The arbitrator will probably screw the Midwest pilots and make 60 of them captains. The rest will not even bother coming to Republic for $37/hour. In a few years, Republic will have massive lay-offs as it's go-alone plan fails. Oil is heading back towards $150/barrel. Republic will not be able to withstand it. Then the Republic pilots "only trying to support a family" will be able to experience the Midwest pilots' frustrations first-hand.

We understood your plan months ago. The only thing that will stop the Teamster plan to "lock-out" the Midwest ALPA pilots is a ruling by a arbitrator.
Good luck.

Fine with me. You forget I have a real job I can go back to. My only reason for taking a recall is to have buttford actually have to have consequences for his actions. Go ahead and fire me because everything I do will be documented, recorded and by the letter of the law.

Again, anything I can to do to legally hurt RAH and BB's bottom line I will do. Cut on a tire? Change it. Missing a static wick? I would feel better if it were fixed. Bird strike? Airplane will not move until a complete bird strike inspection is performed. That means opening up the cowling on each engine and a borescope perfomed. One approach and then its off to the alternate. APU running entire flight? Safe thing to do in my opinion especially at night. MEL question? That could take thirty minutes or more to figure out. No single engine taxi outs. Twenty minute warm up on all engines on first flight of the day. If that means giving up a spot in line for twenty or thirty aircraft, so be it. Five hundred pounds above min required for takeoff. If not, will probably need to return to gate for more. Again, just to be safe. Irate passenger? Return to the gate to solve the problem. These are just a few of the items I will practice with my fellow RAH crewmembers. Won't it be fun?

I think he's talking about grounding a aircraft after finding a cut tire on a walk-around. Midwest maintenance would return a aircraft to service if the cut was small and had not reached the wear cord.
Rat, pilots don't have the A&P license to ground aircraft for tire cuts. You know you would only get in trouble for refusing to fly.

Did I miss one? (anyway..YX has 390 or so pilots, there is always the proverbial 5% , I suspect we are/were no exception)
