3X is correct in pointing out how critical time is/was in the integration. He pointed out earlier, and I am not sure many others understood how significant it is, that the longer the integration drags on, the less likely for a Midwest pilot getting any of the flying. To my knowlege all the E-190's will be online by the end of May..ergo, they will already have trained crews. The upshot of that is that even if awarded a high senority number from the integration process, there will still be no job due to no additional flying. It is considered unlikely that any arbitrater will flush a currently flying pilot (nor should he). 3X , you have mentioned this a couple times and it goes to the heart of the sense of urgency felt by many.
As an aside, I will add my repetitive position on it...due to the way the integration is looking to take place(from a time standpoint), we had best hope for great success from the new branded operation(or at least some more contract flying) for any of us to have enough expansion to fly for RAH.

I'm a midwest guy, by the way, but I don't see much use in arguing with a bunch of kids that see us as a roadblock in their (sure to be) illustrious careers. They didn't want Bedford to buy us....we were about to go out of business anyway...why do we deserve to be employed right now??
I still desperately need a job, however, I constantly hope for Republics demise even if it means me not ever getting a flying job again. If I still am unemployed when the sli finally goes through, I will take a position at republic, and then proceed to squander every company resourse that I can get my hands on. I guess I'll be that guy that runs the APU the whole flight and looks for any reason to delay a flight just out of spite. (Oh...I know, I know, I'll only be a lowely F/O)
I guess I'm not that much of a professional after all. So be it. I consider Republic's (and a whole bunch of other companies) demise a benefit to everyone.

I have tried to be as professional about this as I can. I understand the frustration that you must be feeling. But this **** is unacceptable. I hope that was a drunken rant...we've all had those...wake up in the morning, re-read it and go "oops...got a bit carried away there". If that was not a drunken rant than you are a scumbag who I hope to never work with.

I'm perfectly sober and I agree with him 100%. What's wrong with using our resources to influence that good companies prosper and dirtball operations like RAH, Mesa, GoJets, TSA, Colgan, Pinnicle, etc. fail and are replaced with better companies or quality carriers take over for the failures of these dumps?

The industry is absolutely not what is used to be. I am not happy about the way things are changing either. Being one of those "kids" myself with a family at home I am just trying to make a living like everyone else at every other airline. I sincerely hope to never fly with you. Take the hate and cancerous attitude elsewhere.

The only thing he is a danger to is Bedford's bottom line.
Now I'm not saying his emotions towards RAH pilots are justified because I'm not sure what they could have done to prevent Bedford's actions. I would like to believe that if they could have gone on strike in support of the YX pilots they would have done so, but that is the fault of the RLA.

Grow up. This is not kindergarten. It's a message board that drunk pilots post on.
