To my knowlege all the E-190's will be online by the end of May..ergo, they will already have trained crews. The upshot of that is that even if awarded a high senority number from the integration process, there will still be no job due to no additional flying. It is considered unlikely that any arbitrater will flush a currently flying pilot (nor should he). 3X , you have mentioned this a couple times and it goes to the heart of the sense of urgency felt by many.
As an aside, I will add my repetitive position on it...due to the way the integration is looking to take place(from a time standpoint), we had best hope for great success from the new branded operation(or at least some more contract flying) for any of us to have enough expansion to fly for RAH.
I am not sure about this as I believe we are in uncharted territory especially with Bond-McCaskell. It is further complicated by the fact that the acquired carrier(s) are operating and in fact expanding their operations at the expense of the YX crews.

I still desperately need a job, however, I constantly hope for Republics demise even if it means me not ever getting a flying job again. If I still am unemployed when the sli finally goes through, I will take a position at republic, and then proceed to squander every company resourse that I can get my hands on. I guess I'll be that guy that runs the APU the whole flight and looks for any reason to delay a flight just out of spite. (Oh...I know, I know, I'll only be a lowely F/O)

I guess I'm not that much of a professional after all. So be it. I consider Republic's (and a whole bunch of other companies) demise a benefit to everyone.

(Disclosure...4 beers and a bottle of wine).
I have tried to be as professional about this as I can. I understand the frustration that you must be feeling. But this **** is unacceptable. I hope that was a drunken rant...we've all had those...wake up in the morning, re-read it and go "oops...got a bit carried away there". If that was not a drunken rant than you are a scumbag who I hope to never work with.

I'm perfectly sober and I agree with him 100%. What's wrong with using our resources to influence that good companies prosper and dirtball operations like RAH, Mesa, GoJets, TSA, Colgan, Pinnicle, etc. fail and are replaced with better companies or quality carriers take over for the failures of these dumps?

because it never happens..they are just replaced with someone even further down the evolution change. I would remind you that good ol YX was for many years considered a lower bottom feeder as well..it took years for us to gain parity in pay/work rules. Same with jetblu

I don't usually frequent this board because many of the posts on here are spiteful and quite honestly, ignorant. I wouldn't presume to call you ignorant but spiteful definitely is the right word. I am sure that there are a million reason why you would say things like that. Drunken night even I could understand. I can only say that I am truly sorry for the situation you and your family are in at this moment. You have most likely seen more than my or anyone else's share of hardships and rough times in this industry. You say you guess your'e not that much of a professional after all? Professional is not the word I would use to describe that last post. You should truly be ashamed of yourself. And the fact that more people agree with that kind of drivel is equally appalling.

The industry is absolutely not what is used to be. I am not happy about the way things are changing either. Being one of those "kids" myself with a family at home I am just trying to make a living like everyone else at every other airline. I sincerely hope to never fly with you. Take the hate and cancerous attitude elsewhere.

He is emotional yes but how is he a danger to the flying public? What he said about squandering resources is no different than the tactics used during a "safety campaign."

The only thing he is a danger to is Bedford's bottom line.

Now I'm not saying his emotions towards RAH pilots are justified because I'm not sure what they could have done to prevent Bedford's actions. I would like to believe that if they could have gone on strike in support of the YX pilots they would have done so, but that is the fault of the RLA.

Grow up. This is not kindergarten. It's a message board that drunk pilots post on.

You have a ramper that lives next door and a mechanic with 5 kids on the corner

What are they paying those guys???

Maybe I should be asking what are they paying you
