Now THAT is some funny poopoo.

And in Herb's day, it might have been done.

Good luck to all those who work for this "self-aggrandizing Christian-in-name-only" POS Brian Binferd.

That was the general gist of my previously censored post, edited to comply with the TOS.

How repulsive.

Merry X-mas everyone.

I was going to dig deep and explain this all to you, but you truly know what I meant, but you wanted to get in a jab where you could since you've been able to move on. The old training for pay is much different than the PFJ and PFT situations that we have now, like Gulf Stream....but once again, you know this.

And no, I don't fly with the uber senior guys, to answer your "comment".

Nobody said Milwaukee is known for its sunny beaches and amusement parks. The point is that you don't go walking around saying one of your central hubs and soon-to-be major sources of income is full of chumps who enjoy cookies.

It doesn't matter if MKE constantly smells like rotten eggs and you get kicked in the nuts every time you step off the airplane. In his position you gotta market your main destinations and hubs. Midwest was all about the home town pride and now the CEO is on record berating it as a 3rd rate city. That's not being honest, it's being stupid.

What it comes down to is that Bedford is used to being able to step over everyone and still run his business. Up until now all he's had to do is meet easily measurable contractual provisions and the money comes in. His entire airline up til now was made or broken by a spreadsheet, not quality, and thats all he knows.

Well now he's the one who has to fill the seats, provide the quality service, and act like a real airline, or customers will vote with their feet. Unfortunately for him, he has no idea what he's gotten himself into and he's competing with airlines who are experts at not only doing that, but turning a profit while doing so.

Though it really is unfortunate for the employees, especially those at Frontier and Midwest, it will be a good thing for a lot of people when Republic closes up shop. With the "quality" leadership, product, and mindset they have now, it might not take very long.

There is only 1 left on the seniority list.
