So you're at an airline that been around for 80+ years and pays about $22 more at the ten year mark. Just checking...

When you say "you guys," I'll take that to mean pilots in general, as I don't think you will find many Allegiant pilots that throw stones regarding pay. We know it sucks. It is a major bone of contention right now, and a large factor behind the current union drive.

That being said, I suggest you take a look on this very site for the pay scales of airlines such as Omni, Ryan, North American, Miami Air, heck, even US Airways (737 pay). While Allegiant pay sucks, it is far from the only charter/small scheduled airline with this kind of pay. Those airlines offer in many cases lower pay to fly 757/767. People seem happy to bash Allegiant, but ignore other similar airlines.

I'm not justifying this pay by any means, rather I want to point out that we ALL need to push forward, and help out our brothers attain it. Throwing stones plays into managements hands everywhere.

wow! How does an F.O. survive on those wages? Is there any hope for pay raises or is this it for awhile? I thought I read Allegiant made some nice profits recently? They need to pass that on to the pilots in the form of a raise.
