Pilots pay highlighted in new Moore film

The problem with Moore is that he's not a credible source. Cuba has the best health care in the world, for example. He always paints people as victims. I'm sure he didn't interview captains making $200K because that doesn't fit his template. I won't be giving him my $7.99.

Under the current tax code, you're allowed to pay more than the current rate. It ain't like the IRS is going to return it. It's perfectly legal to donate money to the federal government and even put it on your tax forms.
I seem to remember that Jimmy Carter used to do it every year.
So he should put his money where his mouth is and just pay more.

What I don't understand, but KNEW was going to happen, is why some people look to see WHO said what instead of WHAT was said.
Who cares about the person who said that pilots were underpaid?
The REAL question that gets lost in the discussion --probably by design -- is ARE pilots underpaid? Did pilots get screwed out of their pensions, pay and workrules?
Personally, I don't care if David Duke said pilots have been screwed. If he did, I'd have to say, "I have to agree with that."
Some of you need to let the politics go and look to the issues. Debate those issues and leave the personalities out of it.

By the way what does it even matter if the entire world knows that pilots are underpaid? What is that going to change? What is that going to get us? Sympathy...
We as pilots accept it every time we sign POS contracts. Just look at contracts that have been signed at the regionals.
