Hmmm.... just like our politicians. Big difference is that the politicos sweep their funds into their PACs and avoid income taxes... and Moore pays his dues to Uncle Sam... So who is and who is not above board?

Politics has nothing to do with it. Getting the "facts" out by being a lying hypocrite won't help any of us.
Even the most cursory fact check of any of his films will leave you gagging at the lies, half truths and fabrications. Not exactly the sort of support we need.
It does sell well with an uninformed public and that turns the trick. It is easy to fool most of the people much of the time.

I guess we will agree to disagree dude.

I'll bite. If anybody watched the interview you know that Moore does pay taxes, and would not object to paying more taxes if the public would see a benefit from it. He made it clear that the American people pay taxes and an increase would create no direct benefit.
I also find it funny that many of you attack him for making money on a movie about capitalism. He is not against the theory of capitalism. He is publicizing how the system is broken. The facts are, hard work, honesty, and a good set of morals don't pay off as they should. Just look at the postings on this here website.

Check your facts, there is really no reason to believe anything this guy tells you. It is just too easy to find the truth these days, look at the history and the chain of events.
"Moore himself is one of these ultra-wealthy few, with a net worth exceeding $50 million. On November 1, 2005, World Net Daily reported that the anti-capitalist Moore -- who had proudly declared "I don't own a single share of stock!" -- in fact owned tens of thousands of shares in U.S. stocks. Most notably, Moore owned more than 2,000 shares in Halliburton -- the gas and oil company he excoriated in his film Fahrenheit 9/11."
